Summary

About once a year, Stephanie would find herself working as a prostitute, mostly to alleviate financial constraint or the tedium of whatever job she was working at the time. While at a low-end brothel called "Christine's," she met Bernard, a married lawyer. Instead of spending time having sex, they talked about art, and another artist/prostitute he had met there.
