Summary

Kyoshi falls onto her face in pain. She is surpised by Xu’s move, having never seen someone bend lightning before. Xu begins striking more lightning at Kyoshi, however, unbeknownst to both Xu and the rest of the crowd, Kyoshi has not actually been hurt by any of the lightning strikes aside from the first which caught her off guard, and on the ground Kyoshi is able to use the chainmail in her jacket to protect herself from the lightning. Xu continues his attacks, and Rangi cries out for him to stop.

Hearing Rangi, who is normally a pillar of strength, sounding so vulnerable and scared sends Kyoshi over the edge, and she grabs Xu’s ankle as goes to shoot at her, shocking him. Kyoshi uses his moment of distraction to throw him down onto his back by his ankle. She grabs...
