Summary

Kyoshi dreams that she is struggling to open a small metal box. A woman with serpents tattooed on her arms and a man in bright, expressive makeup gently encourage Kyoshi. Suddenly, the box gets hot and Kyoshi drops it, and the man begins to morph in Jianzhu while the woman morphs into the spirit who killed Yun. Rangi wakes Kyoshi up as they have arrived at Chameleon Bay. Kyoshi is following instructions from the journal that are meant to lead her to Madam Qiji’s teahouse. They hide Pengpeng in a clearing and head into town.
