Nataniel School

Most of the novel is set on the Light Campus of the Nataniel School for Witchlings. This school is designed to teach Witchlings to identify their elements and to learn to master them. Autumn arrives at this school and has a feeling of familiarity, as though she has been there before when she knows that is impossible. The school was founded by the Turners, and they continue to shoulder most of the budget.

Turner Cabin

Michael and Rania Turner live in a cabin near the school with Rania’s father. Beck and Decker both visit the cabin often to ask advice of their parents, especially Michael whose earth magic makes him a calming influence.

Woods

Many of the characters spend a lot of time in the woods beside the Light Campus. This is where the yeti Sam lives and where the earth and air Witchlings can commune...
