Chapter 21

As Autumn lies unconscious her elements begin to break down the barrier of her memories. Autumn sees Tarzan and Summer. Summer is the air while Tarzan is the earth. Summer tells Autumn that she passed her second trial. The elements show Autumn Summer’s final hours, how she went Dark and then fell from Miner’s Drop. Autumn also sees Beck making a deal with Sam, his soul for Summer’s second chance. Autumn is Summer, returned by the elements to have a second chance to pass her trial. Summer is the first to successfully come back from going Dark.

Summer wakes in the hospital with Beck and Rania at her side. Summer remembers them. She also realizes that she has returned to her natural form. Rania explains how she cast a spell to make Summer look like Autumn and that she...
