(untitled chapter) Elisabeth goes to see her mother at the doctor’s office where Wendy works as a General Practitioner. The receptionist tells Elisabeth Wendy is not registered at the office. Elisabeth asks to see anyone, but does not have any valid forms of ID. The receptionist become angered, thinking Elisabeth may be impersonating someone. Elisabeth then returns to the Post Office. There, she learns too much hair is on her forehead in her new picture, and so the new picture cannot be accepted. Additionally, Elisabeth learns her eyes appear too small in the photograph to be accepted. Elisabeth tells them to send the photos anyways, that if the Passport office has a problem, she will address it. She then decides to go to the used bookstore to buy a book before going to see Daniel.
