Guests often remark that Bertram's offers the best tea hour in London. This tea hour often includes muffins, real muffins that people can rarely get anymore.

Chocolates

Elvira claims that she received chocolates while living in Italy from an anonymous admirer that made her ill. Elvira says that she saw puncture marks in the chocolates and believes that this was the first attempt made on her life.
