Chapters 7-11 Summary

In chapter 7, Canon Pennyfather's goes to Kensington Air Station to catch a plane to Lucerne, but learns that his ticket was bought for a flight that left the night before. Pennyfather decides to have some dinner on his way home, but he has already eaten and therefore is not hungry. Pennyfather then decides to see a movie, stopping to see Walls of Jericho because it sounds biblical. Pennyfather then becomes lost on the way back to Bertram's and arrives after midnight. Thankfully, Pennyfather had forgotten to turn over his key before leaving, so he is able to go straight to his room. When Pennyfather opens the door, he is hit over the head by an unseen assailant.
