Vardaman - Chapter 49 Summary

Darl and Vardaman listen to Addie's coffin. Vardaman does not hear anything, but Darl tells Vardaman that Addie told him to hide her away from the sight of man. After Darl says this, he says that they should go see about Cash. Returning to the events of the previous chapter, they pour water on Cash's cast.
