Chapters 13-16 Summary

Chapter 13. Out of Time. Artemis, Holly, and the demons travel through time, stopping briefly on the moon before landing in the volcano crater on Hybras. During the travel, Artemis managed to steal some magic from the others. When they reach Hybras, Artemis realizes that the instability of time on Hybras has given them more time to defuse the bomb. However, Artemis quickly discovers he cannot defuse the bomb because it is too complicated. Instead, Artemis suggests they use the blast of the bomb to take Hybras back through time to earth. To do this, however, Qwan tells him they will need at least two more magical beings.

Chapter 14. Leader of the Pack. Abbot is at a council meeting where he uses magical powers to mesmerize the other members and makes himself king. When Abbot learns that a human and other magical...
