Chapters 1-4 Summary

Artemis Fowl is an Irish teenager whose father once ran an organized crime group. Artemis learned from his father at an early age how to run his own scams and business. This is the fifth book of the Artemis Fowl series, starring a more mature and kinder Artemis Fowl.

Chapter 1. Blast to the Past. Artemis Fowl is in Barcelona, Spain for reasons even his bodyguard does not fully understand. Artemis is waiting for something to appear, but it does not. Artemis and Butler, his bodyguard, are crossing the street to get into their car when a demon suddenly appears out of nothing.
