Chapter 25 Summary

In June, the PTA throws a farewell party for the sixth-grade. She thinks about being in seventh grade in September. Mr. Benedict says the class has improved, and he is no longer a new teacher. The PTS's talk about going on to middle school. They go home and cry. Margaret hears the lawn mower, and realizes that Moose is back. She is happy at first then remembers Laura's story.

She calls him a liar and says she does not believe the A & P story. He wants to know who told her that. She starts to say Nancy then feels stupid. Moose asks if she believes everything she hears. He says she should have evidence first. Margaret apologizes. She leaves and goes inside to the bathroom. She is glad Moose is not a liar.....
