Mr. Benedict has the class turn in their special projects in May. He says he will not grade them. Margaret writes a letter about her religious experiment and says she has not decided what religion she wants to be or if she wants to be anything. She lists religious books she has read and the religious services she has attended. She says if she has children, she will tell them what religion they are early. She thinks twelve is too late. The rest of the class turns in booklets, but Margaret only has the letter.
Embarrassed, she waits in the classroom after school. Mr. Benedict asks what she wants. She says she did not turn in a booklet and gives him the letter. As he reads it, she apologizes. She is about to.....
