Chapter 14 Summary

At the Norman's house, Margaret sees most of the class is there, including Laura. The boys are dressed up, but after Philip takes off his tie, all the boys take off their jackets. The boys and girls stay in their own groups. Norman suggests playing games. After one idea is vetoed, Norman suggest Spin the Bottle. After Margaret's classmates just air kiss each other, Jay says the game is lame and wants to play Two Minutes in the Closet. He says everyone has a number, and a couple goes in the closet for "you know" for two minutes when their number is called.

Norman makes numbers, and everyone draws. After Philip and Laura go, Nancy gives Margaret a look. Margaret is so intent on Laura she does not hear Philip call her number. In.....
