Anna Oliphant

Anna is a senior in high school. She grew up in Atlanta and has always enjoyed her life in the city. She works at a movie theater in the mall with a cute boy named Toph, and she goes to public high school with her best friend, Bridge. She is very close with her mother and brother, Seany, but she resents her father, who had left her family when he got famous and wealthy for writing tasteless novels about terminal diseases.

Anna loves film and wants to be a film critic when she is older. She plans to study film theory in college, and she spends her spare time writing a blog in which she discusses her opinions on current and classic films. When her father first tells her he is sending her to Paris, she is highly upset.
