This book is fourteen-year-old Georgia's diary from August until July. Georgia lives in England with her parents and three-year-old sister, Libby. She also has a wildcat, named Angus, who she rescued from Scotland. She thinks her parents are old-fashioned and overprotective. Although she loves them, she struggles with controlling Libby and Angus. Her best friend, a classmate and neighbor, is Jas, and she has girlfriends, as well. She goes to an all-girl school and makes enemies of teachers by misbehaving. She worries about how to act with boys and about her body, especially her nose. She is briefly with Peter and Mark, but she has her heart set on Robbie, who she calls the Sex God.
However, Robbie appears to be serious with Lindsay. Most of the book has Georgia pining over Robbie and advising.....
