The spirits of Sitting Bear and Billy the Kid meet. Billy stands before Sitting Bear until noticed. He then gives a speech about how great Sitting Bear is, a speech that Grey had written for him and that he memorized. Sitting Bear acknowledges Billy's oratory talents and points out that they are both marked men. They talk about the proper way to die, with Sitting Bear saying that he died singing. Billy says that he cannot sing.
