The something that Murphy Dicks is referring to is having sex with Grey as payment for Dog. Grey knows that she is good at sex, and this payment was a bargain for a horse as good as Dog. She has the good horse and does not need to make further payment for him, although Murphy thinks that he has some kind of hold on Grey. To Grey the transaction is completed, that is all.
