Fat Charlie is one of two sons of Anansi, the spider spirit god said to have created the universe. His brother, Spider, is the embodiment of Charlie's dark side and a spiritual Type A to Fat Charlie's Type B. Charlie is good-natured, easygoing, and somewhat naive.
