Chapters 7-9 (p. 153-227) Summary

Fat Charlie gets a plane to Orlando, where he is met at the airport by Mrs. Higgler. He complains that he is starving and wants something to eat, but as she barrels along the freeway she tells him to wait until they reach Mrs. Dunwiddy's house where she has a turkey roasting in the oven for him. Once they have something to eat, Fat Charlie asks if they can help him banish his brother Spider from his home and his life. "We can't make him go away," Mrs. Dunwiddy proclaims, "but we can send you to somebody who can."
