Book 2, Chapter 30 Summary

Clyde does not see Roberta when she returns Christmas Day, because he has been invited to the Griffiths. Gilbert is infuriated by newspaper's write-up of Clyde's attendance at the party, but Samuel feels that Clyde must be of a good cut to be recognized by other members of the social set.
