That weekend, Aidan takes a cab to Essex County Airport to meet Julian, figuring it will be a weekend out of the city even if they do not find Paige. Aidan is terrified as Julian takes off, and Julian points out EmpiresFall must be involved since he did not call the police. He probably expected Aidan to post the information immediately, and Julian asks why Aidan didn't. Julian arranges to meet Brendan Carlyle for a drink at the Pequot later. At the Pequot, Brendan is impressed when the bartender flirts with Julian, so Julian praises the beautiful girl Brendan brought to a dance a few years earlier.
