Summary

This section begins with Beatrice's angst over her courtship with Teddy. She and Connor are headed to Telluride to meet the rest of the Royal family when the plane is forced to land due to turbulent weather. Connor and Beatrice find lodging in a small country cottage where Connor cooks her pasta and the two confess their feelings for one another. Meanwhile, Sam struggles unsuccessfully to avoid Teddy in Telluride. The two find themselves in the outdoor hot tub together and Teddy informs Sam that Beatrice had been interviewing suitors at the ball. Additionally, he confesses that his family is in danger of losing everything as a result of some bad investments. Teddy discloses that he feels close to Beatrice because he understands the weight of their royal responsibilities. After his confession, Sam and Teddy kiss.
