Summary

In Chapter 9, Lara Jean wakes up and remembers that she is not going to UVA. She is sad to think that she will be living away from home and that she will not get to see Kitty every day. At school, her guidance counselor tells her that she is surprised Lara Jean did not get in but urges her to remain hopeful about the other four schools. Lara Jean tells her friend Chris that she did not get accepted and Chris tells her that she should come to the Caribbean with her where she will be working on a farm. Lara Jean says no, and asks Chris to send her postcards to keep in touch. Chris asks Lara Jean if she and Peter will attempt a long-distance relationship, and Lara Jean says yes.
