Summary

In Chapter 10, Althea buys a bottle of King Cobra malt liquor and heads to a pier in Brooklyn to think. She has driven all the way to New York without being able to see Oliver and needs to figure out a new plan. Althea finishes her bottle of King Cobra and promptly vomits in a nearby trash can. Unfortunately, her car keys have fallen into the can and she is forced to sort through the refuse to find them. While digging, she cuts her arm on something sharp and tries to stop the bleeding with a t-shirt she finds in her car. She takes beach blankets out of her trunk and lies down on the floor in her car to sleep after parking on a residential side street. Althea dreams of dinosaurs, a familiar theme for her for years, but tonight she dreams...
