Chapter 13

Johanna and the group stop their truck and then they get out. Johanna leaves them to go back and continue to help those who are still Allegiant and will work against Evelyn. Before too long a large truck comes up carrying Amar, Tobias's old trainer from Dauntless. Tobias is ecstatic and there is a reunion of sorts. He finds out that Amar has been working with a group called the Bureau of Genetic Warfare. A girl, Zoe, who is with Amar's group tells them that they've been sent to bring them the rest of the way in. They don't trust them, but Zoe places a picture down and tells Tris that she should look at it. Tris does and sees a picture of her mother, a much younger version. She convinces the others that these are the answers that they've come for...
