Summary

Chapter 9

The overall action that occurs in this chapter is that Caleb is put on trial and it doesn't go well. Tris decides that she doesn't want to see him punished, but that for the most part he was doing what he thought was right at the time. Caleb isn't executed, but it still isn't off the table. Tris remembers him as her brother and not the Erudite drone attached to Jeanine. She decides to forgive him. Tobias says that he'll help Caleb escape his prison.
