Mary Beth Addison

Mary was 9 years-old when she was charged with killing the three-month-old girl her mother was babysitting. The infant, Alyssa Richardson was crying when Mary forced pills down the child's throat and beat her because she was being “bad.” Mary said very little during the investigation and was sent to jail, though at nine she was younger than the other inmates and officials had trouble knowing what to do with her.
