Point of View

This novel is written from the first person point of view of three of the main characters: Nina, Tom, and Lyla. Nina is a significant character who needs to be included as a first-person narrator in order for the reader to understand her transition as she reacts to what Finch has done. She changes from a mother who believed she had done a good job parenting Finch to one who realized that she and her husband had made mistakes and failed Finch in their parenting.
