Wavy (Wavonna) Quinn

Wavy is the main character and the focus of the entire novel. She is described as being much smaller than average and always looking much younger than she is. She has soft, wispy blond hair that hangs on her shoulders and she loves wearing summer dresses with tough motorcycle boots. Wavy is the picture of quiet strength and resiliency. She lives with both her Aunt Brenda and her grandma when she is a child, but she moves in with her biological parents, Val and Liam, once they are released from prison.
