Part 9, p. 160 - 184 Summary

In "Hey People!" (6), Gossip Girl reveals that a film producer has seen Vanessa's video and has been trying to track her down, that Blair and Serena are back in Manhattan and planning a New Year's Eve party, and that Flow has returned the parrot.

In "Locked in a Tower," grounded and frustrated, feeling "like Rapunzel, only with shorter hair and bigger boobs", Jenny longs for Nate, imagines him pining for her, and prepares a "care package" with a few mementoes of her to help him think of her. Shortly afterwards, Jenny encounters Dan, who bitterly tells her Vanessa shot the video. When Jenny says she doesn't mind, Dan returns to his room to continue working on his poem about "sluts" (see "Quotes", p. 165/6). He quickly writes the poem and decides to email it to Vanessa.
