Summary

Greta:

Having not seen her for a year and a half, since she dropped her mother off in New Hampshire, Andrea is set to meet Greta for lunch. They meet at an upscale restaurant, a place where she and Greta used to meet when she was still an editor. Andrea arrives early, and witnesses Greta walking in a simple black dress that recalls the old days, and also the weight she has gained. Greta mentions some business, and they order cheeseburgers, Andrea offering to pay. While her sister-in-law talks about her clients and different issues with Medicaid, Andrea becomes engrossed in a couple sitting across from them, the man appearing to abuse the woman. Andrea calls out from work, drawing the implicit ire of her boss, and hoping that he fires her but he does not. Andrea tries to listen to Greta...
