Summary

In Chapter 18, Moose eavesdrops on a conversation between Mr. Mattaman and Mr. Bomini on the ferry. They talk about the number of people blaming Nat for starting the fire. Mr. Bomini comments that the members of the task force are planning on questioning Al Capone about the fire. Mr. Mattaman mentions that Lizard was caught with a five dollar bill. He says something does not seem right and that it is not just in regard to the fire.

Back at Alcatraz, Annie and Moose talk about the night of the fire. She asks if the lights were on in the kitchen when he went to sleep.
