Summary

In the evening, Noah takes a look through the journal in which Michael is supposed to be writing. (Michael is taking time off of school for the trip, so the journal counts towards school credit.) Noah sees that Michael has mostly just drawn humorous, gruesome drawings of things tangentially related to their experiences on the trip. They have local seafood for dinner, and Noah manages to make Michel laugh by making a somewhat crass joke. Michael briefly talks about his family, like his uncle Cody.
