Chapter XIII and VIX Summary

In Chapter XIII, Agnes relates that Rosalie has begun the habit of attending church twice each Sunday as it gives her the opportunity to be noticed. She also enjoys the walk home with at least one gentleman who lives in the same direction as the Murrays. At times when Agnes is allowed to walk with the ladies, she tends to pretend to be interested in some flower or tree so that she can walk alone.
