The Age of Innocence was adapted as a silent film by Olga Printzlau, produced in 1924 by Warner Brothers. In 1934, Margaret Ayer Barnes, Victor Heerman, and Sarah Y. Mason adapted the novel as a film in a production by RKO Radio Pictures, Inc. Most recently, in 1993, Martin Scorsese directed a Columbia Pictures adaptation of the novel by Scorsese and Jay Cocks. The film starred Daniel Day-Lewis as Newland Archer, Michelle Pfeiffer as Countess Olenska, and Winona Ryder.....
