Chapters 9-10 Summary

Paget works harder in November and December than ever before. Strachan has Topp visit before leaving, assesses her as an excellent manager, gives her a ticket and itinerary, and discusses the job. He sends to Australia with her a large air-conditioning unit that Paget feels is essential to success but cannot obtain locally.
