Summary

Part 2, Chapter 1, Dima returns to London, and as Russia begins to enter winter, the weather grows very cold. Andrei continues to go to hockey multiple times per week, and his team continues to lose consistently. He finds other places he can play, and for a time, he is playing hockey almost every night. His hockey trips take him to many different parts of the city. He eventually develops a rapport with the teammates of the first team he joined in Moscow. Meanwhile, Andrei wonders what he could do to retain Seva’s apartment. Andrei certainly could not afford to purchase it from Dima—who is technically the current legal owner—because the apartment is expensive, and Andrei has very little money.
