Chapter 78, Tyrion Summary

Tyrion is in his cell. He thinks his execution time has arrived when he hears the door opening, but it is his brother Jaime, who has come to rescue him. Jaime has arranged for him to escape because he says it is a debt he owes. Tyrion asks him to clarify, and he said Tysha, Tyrion's first wife, was not a whore. Tywin made Jaime lie and tell Tyrion she was as a punishment. Jaime said he did not know Tywin would give the girls to the guards to be raped. Tyrion is angry and punches Jaime. He says he will get revenge on Jaime, Cersei, and Tywin.

Jaime asked if Tyrion killed Joffrey, and Tyrion claims he did. He also tells Jaime that Cersei has been sleeping with other men, and that Joffrey was a monster. Jaime leaves, and Tyrion...
