Summary

Milly travels from her village to Mumbai, where she arrives at the home of her new employers, Jayant Vachani and his wife Hemali. The Vachanis live in a large house and employ several guards around the premises. After a few months in her new position, she realizes that her employers have never allowed her to leave the building. She tries to leave the house one day, but a guard stops her, saying that he has been ordered not to let her leave the house.
