Laura

Laura is a young woman with emotional, mental, and physical problems. When she was ten, her mother started having an affair with a man. One day, the man left the house and hit Laura on her bike as she was riding home from work. Laura’s mother urged him to leave so she would not get in trouble. Laura spent three months in a coma, and when she woke up she underwent many surgeries before being sent home, only to discover that her mother had left the family and moved away.

As an adult, Laura suffers from low impulse control, violent outbursts, and general inhibitions. She lives on her own and works at a launderette.
