Summary

In Chapter 22, Caleb makes comments when Jill has issues during practice. Jonesy’s performance is about equal with Jill’s. She thanks Jonesy, and he tells her to ignore Caleb. Marcus goes with her when it is time for Jill’s bullpen session even though he is not the catcher. They talk about the player who was cut from the team and how the club goes about doing it. Caleb is there during Jill’s bullpen practice and continues to comment. Sawyer tells Caleb to leave. Jill realizes that she needs to concentrate rather than listen to random comments.

After stretching, Jill decides to go for a run. She sees Caleb because it is time for his bullpen session. She tries not to notice. However, she finds herself watching and decides that she does not like his way of pitching. Later, she talks...
