Over dinner Candy tells Spenser that Brewster has mob connections and that Franco is blackmailing him, threatening to tell the police. Brewster is to meet with Franco the following night. Candy is to have dinner with Brewster the following night as well so she suggests that if she can find out where the meeting is to be, she and Spenser can follow.
