As Tully and Diver, Solomon's son, are finishing up the Cayo Loco Fish Market when Sammy Raye's plane lands. Sammy tells Tully that all of the charges against him have been dropped.

After Tully left Wyoming and the Stiltons were unable to track him down, Thelma Barston made a run for Congress as a born-again, right wing conservative. However, it turns out that Thelma was involved in a kinky affair with a film director and Sammy Raye found out and threatened to expose her secret if she didn't drop the charges. This made Thelma furious and she ran off on a snowmobile and ran over the pink flamingoes that used to be in front of Tully's trailer.
