Chapter 21 Summary

"Quiet Time"

Bucky and Ix-Nay return from their trips. The next day Ix-Nay and Tully go to get Bucky's Jeep and discover that it's completely useless. Tully tells Ix-Nay that he feels guilty about what happened to Bucky's Jeep, but that he feels worse about losing his shell. Ix-Nay reassures him that he didn't do anything wrong, he'd just gotten all he needed from the totem.

They hitchhike to Tulum and Tully makes good on his promise to Hector. Ix-Nay shows Tully a classified ad for a truck in Belize, complete with gun mounts. Ix-Nay makes a comment that stuns Tully because it is a quote from one of his favorite movies. Ix-Nay doesn't understand because he doesn't watch movies. Tully explains that The Man Who Would Be King is about two former British soldiers.....
