Summary

Arriving in Japan, Ishikawa is hopeful that he'll finally be able to do something for his family, but his dreams are soon shattered once again. He is given some initial support when settling in Japan, but is soon on his own. He is contacted by journalists but he refuses to speak to them, knowing that the consular staff will be fired if their involvement with him is made public. He meets with a member of parliament but the politician is either unable or unwilling to help him rescue his family. Ishikawa wants desperately to get a decent job but ultimately isn't able to due to his age, lack of education, and limited work experience, combined with a bad economy. When he does get a job at a cleaning company, he is suspected of being a North Korean spy and eventually has to leave. Ultimately...
