Summary for Chapters 10-12 Summary

Chapter 10. As chapter nine ends, Vicky is helping Rob complete a sandcastle. At the beginning of chapter ten, she is still with him. He takes a nap after lunch, and she promises that she will stay with him until he falls asleep. Vicky looks at his sleeping form and realizes that he is growing up. While he is sleeping, she writes a story, and it puts her in a better mood. After dinner that night, the family reads and sings together. Grandfather is back in his bed, and everything seems right with the world.
