Summary

In Chapter 14, Slava got up early Saturday unable to sleep. He wondered what his grandmother would think of him. He called his mother knowing she would be up even though it was early. He asked his mother if she thought his grandmother would have gone along with what he was doing. His mother told him that his grandmother loved him but didn’t know what else to say. He went back to bed and went to sleep but had a nightmare. When he woke from the nightmare, he hit his head on the shelf above Arianna’s bed. She woke up and could feel his anger.
