Summary

In Chapter 37, Johnny accepts John's offer, knowing it means he will be making money to support himself. However, he wants to be certain this will not end his relationship with Marcia. When he tells Luther he visited the president, Marcia steps in with information Johnny had not given her, including that John and Johnny are distant relations and that John had helped John get the position with Luther. Luther says Johnny is free to work for John but Marcia cries. Johnny speaks with Marcia the following day and she says Peter has given her information about Johnny, including that he is engaged to Kate.
