Summary

In Chapter 12, Mia is aware that all the colors she normally sees are much more brilliant and that the auras are also more vibrant than the first time she went through the acupuncture session. Mia has lied to her parents about where she is and what she's doing but when she experiences the colors, she immediately loses any sign of guilt about that lie. When she leaves the office, she notices that there are smears of colors on everything people have touched. She almost walks into traffic and Roger has to stop her. He seems concerned but they don't talk about it.
